This website is used by our members to communicate, share, and collaborate as we each face the unique challenges we share within the California Community College System. If you think you can benefit from this combined knowledge and support, and are an employee of a CA community college, please register and get in touch with CISOA and our members.
The specific purpose of this Association is:
- To provide direction to information systems professionals in California community colleges;
- To provide for professional growth and development of association members;
- To provide an efficient vehicle for communicating among information systems officers, other community college personnel, the Chancellor's Office and other state agencies;
- To increase recognition of the value and necessity of information systems for effective planning and management of individual districts and the California community colleges as a whole.

The CISOA annual awards were given out after dinner on March 22, 2010 at the conference in Ontario.
Congratulations to Dr. Fred Sherman, winner of the Campus Technology Innovator in Technology Planning Award, and to Lee Krichmar for the CISOA Board Award for Campus Technology Innovator of Distinction!

CISOA is pleased to announce that their 2011 annual conference will be held in Santa Clara on April 4, 5, & 6. We will be working out the details so you will have plenty of time to plan; we hope to see you there!
