About CISOA

Chief Information Systems Officers Association (CISOA)

This website is used by our members to communicate, share, and collaborate as we each face the unique challenges we share within the California Community College System. If you think you can benefit from this combined knowledge and support, and are an employee of a CA community college, please register and get in touch with CISOA and our members.

The specific purpose of this Association is:

  • To provide direction to information systems professionals in California community colleges;
  • To provide for professional growth and development of association members;
  • To provide an efficient vehicle for communicating among information systems officers, other community college personnel, the Chancellor's Office and other state agencies;
  • To increase recognition of the value and necessity of information systems for effective planning and management of individual districts and the California community colleges as a whole.

CISOA Annual Awards

The CISOA annual awards were established in 2009 to recognize excellence by members of CISOA in support of the community colleges of California. The awards will also market the work CISOA does throughout the system in support of our students, faculty, and staff.

The process for gathering these nominations is via a web based survey tool.  Click HERE to take the survey and to participate in the 2010 Award Nominations!

For more information, about the CISOA Annual Awards or the process and timeline involved, please login to our web site, click on documents (file repository) and search on "awards".
